hello, i'm a user of the mustek scanner 1200 ed wich i bought in a
computer store with a deduction of the price because there where no
drivers available, and it was a showroom model....
now i'm having trouble configureing it (go figure!!!), i'd sure
appreciate some information on the following questions;

1: Should the scanner react to any in/output from the powerfeed, light
flashing or something...
(i've got a slight feeling the store didn't give me the apropriate
adapter...)

2: i downloaded both the 1.1 & the 2.0 drivers from the europe site and
there seems to be no reaction from the scanner with both of them...

3: if i look in the control panel, i can see a new group called scanners
and camera's, and the mustek is in it, but when i look at the properties
it says at status:not available...

4: when installing the mustek i have the options to have it control
com1, com2 or lpt1,
naturely i chose lpt1 but i can't seem to change the properties of this
device while i can change the properties of both com1 and 2.

please, please help me with my problem.....i'm getting really
desperate.....

p.s. i read the review of the mustek 1200 ed plug&scan in a magazine, it
sounded very good and i would like to see the results soon........
