HI,

MSI 6167 with latest bios.
agp aperture tried both 32 and 256
nothing cachebale
AGP ISA aliasing = disabled
K7 CLK_CTL = default
PCI Vga palette snoop = disabled
Athlon 650
Whitelable Savage4 pro c397 32 MB
installed windows 98 SE and ME
AGP driver 1.60
newest INF

PROBLEM:
Card works fine as standard
as soon as I install the drivers, ( newest from S3 site ( engineer bitflip )) and restart,
it gives a blue screen
or it shows mousepointer, loads a while and right before the logonscreen should appear...it freezes...
After a couple of boots, only in 800 x 600 and 256 color.
Flashing the bios is not possible ( EPROM )
Tried installing some other drivers but to no avail...

Can somebody please help me out, or I'll throw the frickin' card out of the window...
