: : I had drivers on a "PC100 system board" CD that solved the problem , but I have mislaid the CD.
: : I need the correct driver, too
: : : Having spent an evening attempting to get around the same problem, I am now also requesting help.

: : : The computer that the card is fitted in says "The display adapter is not configured properly. Start Hardware Installation Wizard." everytime I boot.

: : : There are no device conflicts.

: : : I've tried numerous drivers, but have not got the time at the moment to test the card in another machine.

: : : Thanks in advance for any help.

: : : : I have no idea how to get my computer to work on a resolution larger than 640x480 with 16 colors...
: : : : I've tried the up-to-date drivers, I've tried Standard VGA and some other things but to no success what so ever...
: : : : PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! ANYONE???

:
: I must also join you with the same problem I have tried over 40 different s3 drivers including those in the Microsoft list and those on an S3 785 driver CD packaged with the card (all W95 drivers) the S3 site did not help either

I'm currently running a trio64V+ at 1024X768 16 bit color no problem. Some icons are a black color but no big deal. The driver I'm using is trio64V+ PCI(765). I believe its on S3's website, if not I still have the driver on hard drive. E-mail me and I'll send it to you if you can't find it elsewhere.

If you have the correct drivers installed and still no luck, maybe your monitor can't display the hihger resolutions.
