"had a hard time locating the right driver for Vista but this one worked. I guided A person over the phone who has very little computer experience and She was able to get it installed. So what else Can I tell But when something works it works. If you know what you are doing it installs right. I give it 5 stars."

"Didn't see a "need password" error..

This works great on my Newer Laptop and my older Pentium 2 and 3 machines.

Works fine on Windows 2000, and Windows XP for me."

"When attempting to download the driver, I received an HTTP 404 error every time. It appears the location of the driver no longer exists!!"

"Was able to take my old VF-0040 Creative Web Cam and get it working on Windows 7. NOTE: I did not use the install within the zipfile. Used the following steps to install driver:

Connect webcam (windows 7 will try to install and fail). right click on my computer, manage, drivers, find the cam. update drivers and point to location of extracted zipfile.

Works great!

"driver did not function at all . it did not reconize the creative webcam that it was deamed compatible with as far as creative inc. instructions read as well as their support division."
