"It is listed as Vista compatible, but Vista would not install it - error Not a Compatible Driver.

This was for a Sony HandyCam DCR-TRV30 which would not connect via USB. See download Sony_Zip which has original drivers from W2000 era that loaded adn worked."

"It states that this is Vista compatible, but windows Vista does not recognize it as a Vista driver.

This was for the Sony Handycam DCR-TRV30, which worked fine w/ my XP system. However Vista would not recognize it. Sony lists the device as non compatible via USB on Vista (along with a host of others - I find this incredible...)"

"I tried to install this driver as it was listed as Vista compatible. Unfortunately, Windows Vista on my computer did not agree with the listing. This driver is not compatible with Vista."
