"I will say that it was a little tricky, as the comment states in an above rating, 1 second download, did nothing until I registered as windows 2000 user, other registration did not work! REMEMBER TO REGISTER, If you read the readme file it explains! You are not registering with company, but with computer!"

"These are the only drivers for my old SONY clunker that actually allowed it to read DVD's and not just CD's. Perhaps under XP it might let one actually play a DVD. To be noted: early DVD-roms can only read original / manufactured CD's and DVD's; absolutely *NO* recorded media of any sort. Perhaps upgrading the _drive's_ BIOS might help alleviate this."

"I managed to find the driver that I had spent quite sometime searching for, but it dont work, apparently I need to add a link into my system files for the device to work, but overall the driver works great."

"Works well but you must try both registers to get the correct one to work with your version of windows. Very unclear when it comes to xp but win2k worked for me."
