"Have flashed my CDD4801/82 with the Philips Flash v3.7.0.0. The flash contents several firmware, incl. latest v2.5 for CDD4801 (see list above).

-> Unfortunaltely no help for me and my problem with burning CD-RW's. But hours later I got it!!

==> The simple reason was, that this f..ng old writer is not able to write "HighSpeed"-CDRW's (4x-12x), only or

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
