"I ended up not using this driver because you had to download vistascan 3.75 from UMAX first and they wanted to charge me even though I had bought their product and lost they CD."

"the driver worked great in the end. be sure to unplug your scanner before rebooting. i had to start in safe mode and roll back the driver because xp wouldn't start. it may have been unnecessary if i unplugged on restart, but that's what i had to do and everything works great without reinstalling...go figure ^_^"

"now my scanner UMAX ASTRA 2000u work under win XP

1. The first I installed vistascan 355

2. The second I installed vistascan 375

3. The third I installed 2000XPupgrade

4. last, I did from text Instalation.txt in this file and finaly WORK!!!

"spent half day to download and signup with DriverGuide & their Ad company

But still, the driver doesn't work at all

it doesn't recognize their is a scanner
