"There are 2 problems:

1. poor stability

2. the sleep mode button (cresent) seized to function.

otherwise all the rest of the buttons came to life.

"The last WinXP upgrades makes the system crash, so you need to recover the last known good configuration from the F8 panel. You may try the safe mode and unistall process from control panel if possible."

"This driver does not work with all the security upgrades from Microsoft. If you still try it and find that you probably would have to spend another evening installing XP from sratch try this: Immediatly after loging into XP press ctrl-alt-del; in the task manager select the process "PBX" and kill it; uninstall the driver with add-remove programs and reboot. BE PA

TIENCE! since this PBX process eats up 100% the time of the processor it would take you some time to be able to select it an depress the buttons."

"Installed on an eMachines PC rather than HP as using old HP keyboard, the functions work, but when I press the program kbd.exe crashes. No big."

"well my last statement was a bit premature i suppose the fist install went w/o a problem and the function keys i couldn't change but as i stated i found that update and it worked perfect i think i caused and issue with the driver be3cause the problems started for me after running style xp but i did upload that update look at my last post and search it down you shouldn'

t have a problem finding it also if your mot realy concerned with all of the button that update did work alone and gave you a few shortcut options but the cd /dvd controls didn't work good luck and i will still be hunting down a solution to this even with my style xp because i'm a finiky personwith this stuff and have the time on my hands lol"

"Agree with first poster. Major system slowdown and crash issues upon attempted install.

Had to force shutdown, enter safemode, manually remove all files.

DOWNLOAD THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK."

"This driver would not install properly. It had major conflict issues slowing my PC startup down to approximately 3-4minutes. Each mouse click took about 30seconds or more to work. I had to restart in safe mode and do a system restore. I think it conflicted with my anti-virus software. Trend Micro PC-cillin. USER BEWARE"
