"Good Hardware Driver, did not "translate" DVD for me though. I used PowerDVD to play my movies after installing this driver and PowerDVD software."

"Flash-updating your firmware is not for the faint of heart, since a bad flash (i.e., incomplete or wrong binary file) can PERMANENTLY KILL the hardware you're trying to update. This one worked ok for me, but it's for old hardware that I wouldn't miss if I killed it.

Your mileage may vary."

"Thank you. Hope it works with Win 2000. Hard to reformat my HDD and all the driver copies that came with my computer were for Win 95. Thank you"
