"I had tried just about all the drivers for my Primax Colorado Direct 9600 on Windows XP and had no luck. I was just about to give up when my last attempt (this one) did the trick. I am so happy after reading such tales of woe about getting this scanner to work on this operating system."

"After several attempts to install it (probably me not knowing what i'm doing!) I managed to get it to work under Windows XP and it seems to be working great. I was about to give up and not have a scanner attached. Many thanks"
