"This driver is not needed because Windows Xp pro 2002 (with sp3) recognised this device (a HP ScanJet5p scanner) automaticly."

"would not install, asked for 2nd disk, i pointed it to root driver folder and also disk2 and disk3 folders, and it still would not install"

"The author's readme file did not help. There were no drivers with nothing to the left of them and disk1,2 and 3 were empty. Confusing download"

"I'm currently using the generic WDM driver for this scanner as the HP driver simply refuses to work for me. I am using the scanner on a Adaptec 2940UW card and the HP software is not recognising the card, however the scanner works great using the WDM XP driver. I'll give this driver a go and report back OK!"
