"Works on the PCChips M748LMRT motherboard for UDMA or multiword access. However I'm still not sure this is the right driver. If DMA support is enabled in the BIOS the system boots fine once but after that XP goes into a frenzy of BSOD errors. If DMA is disabled in the BIOS, XP boots fine but you don't get true UDMA33/66 etc but you do get speeds faster than PIO mode and de

"I was only getting PIO on my SIS520 chipset. With this IDE driver, IO speed is 20Mb/sec - 6 times what it was with only 25% of the cpu."

"Works great in WinXP with a SiS 5513 IDE Chipset (PCChips M748LMRT). Achieved UDMA Mode 4 on my Primary IDE Channel, and UDMA on all other IDE devices. Great!"

"Do not install this driver if you are using IDE 0 and IDE 1 at the same time.

UltraDMA works only with the seconde IDE port.

The first will work always in PIO mode with this.

"I tried this driver on my ECS P5SS-ME to enable DMA. The driver wasn't written for this chipset, but it works so well for me (twice the harddisk bandwidth), that I reccomend it."

"Works great on IBM Aptiva 2199 model 100 with SiS 530 chipset.

Udma mode 2 is now working!! Doubled the speed of data transfer in windows xp sp2.
