"I did a fresh install of Windows 98se and let it mark the card as unknown (?).

This driver is tricky to install, so follow instructions closely:

1. Unzip the file you downloaded & run the Setup.Exe file.

2. Click "Next" four times. - It will show progress bar installing files.

3. The "Add New Hardware Wizard will pop up.

4. Click "N

"This driver worked immediately with my pentax software supplying audeo for my home movies. After a couple of option changes, it worked well on my Windows Media Player 10. I used the anologue instead of digital option and selected this driver instead of default driver in the Window Media Player 10 device setup tab."

"Worked rather well, the only problem i had was with win98 it's self. took forever for it to find the driver. but that's micrsoft's bad, not the driver's.

works great and i have no complaints!"

"Installation was kinda "FLAKEY", have to keep reinstalling the driver whenever I shutdown, as the next reboot it dissapers, other than that it works just fine.

"The download of The driver was with no errors,The install of the driver was Quick, Fast, Stable,and complete.When I went in search for a driver for the 1370 Ensoniq sound card,I went to a site that had the updated driver for this perticular sound card, but they strongly advised (to load the original 1370 Ensoniq driver designed for the sound card first,then update).However

"Excellent! Works great with my Gateway 2000 P5-2000! Small installation issue when installing the files from a cd, though. It asks for the cd, which is already in the drive but you just click ok, which is alright. It also loops, but after it completes once, you can Ctrl-Alt-Del it and restart your computer and it worked PERFECTLY for me. Highly Recommended! =)"

"I downloaded the driver and that was OK. I started the install and it ran till 10% completed and then hung the system out to dry. Had to re-boot PC. Is there anywhere you can get this driver?"

"This driver only works for the ES1370 PCI card. DO NOT try to use it with a model marked as "ES1370/71" or "ES1370-71", which I believe are more common than either the 1370 or the 1371.

I would recommend searching for the ensoniq "FULLDRIVER", which appears to work well with any of the 1370, 1370/71, and 1371 cards."
