"If you are installing this driver to Win XP, please take Henner's comments into consideration before you just try to blow the darn thing up. I was at my wit's end until I tried his suggestion. After that, all seems fine."

"right i got the same thing "please plug in scanner" well it's cos the driver isn't properly installed. the driver works well but you have to tell windows where to look for it...doh! also unlike the description the driver is just one large exe, so you won't have multiple downloads.

to get this driver working, install it as normal and then close the software wh

"Window pops up that says plug in scanner or turn on. Well it doesn't even have an off/on switch!!!! Can't get it to work... I'll have to send the scanner out with my boat anchor :-("

"the driver did not allow me to use the Snapscan Touch under Windows XP. I was not impressed. It kept bringing up a prompt saying "please turn on or plug in your scanner""
