"To all you suckers who have downgraded to XP and now your scanners don't work there's reports of Musteks working so it's doable. But I haven't seen any successful Vivitar installs. Try setting the parallel port to "legacy plug & play" for fun."

"I have downloaded the vsf200v4.exe file. My question is , does anyone know if it will work with windows xp? I do not want to do a critical restore if this driver doesn't work. Help ?"

"Works as described. I use it with PALS2GO software. It needs to be associated when you first use it. This is done by going to File Source then selecting the driver just installed. Thanks Rick, great job. Mike"
