"Doesn't work under WinXP Pro. My modem is agere SV92 PL-T00 which came as an OEM modem on my VAIO computer.

Diagnostics report 'modem port used by another aplication' error."

"I had download the Xp version for this modem and the driver work nice. By now I`m trying the win98 version and I will install in a win98 box and after I became to tell the news.Thanks"

How to Update Agere Systems PCI Soft Modem Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

Step 1 - Download Your Driver

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
