"This is listed as a driver for the Lite-On LTR-40125S CDR/RW. It is NOT a driver, it's a firmware flash. And did not work on 98se."

"Didn't work for me. The drive was recognised by the system, but whenever I put a disc in, it opens the disc but doesn't see the contents:-("
