"installing was hard without sound card's manual ( i had to modify some settings in Bios then check it etc) but then it works good"

"I've tried all the 'xp drivers' from this site to install my awe64gold, but it's not necessary. Just reserve the IRQ 5 in the bios and Xp will recognise your soundcard"

"On Win2000 (german version) this driver doesn't work. W2k shows in several Windows, that many of the files doesn't have certificates and about two will be older than the driver files shipped with W2k!?

After deinstallation and 3 restarts of the computer sound with the original W2k Sounddriver ist back.

One unknown controller ? (in german unbekanntes Gerät) left in t
