"There seems to be a problem with scanner, combined with USB 2.0 port, the device did work on a older pentium III, win XP configuration, with USB 1.1 port, but doesn't work on pentium IV, win xp configuration with USB 2.0 port. message about certain DLL files that can't be loaded etc."

"Can't get it to work on Windows XP (pro). Scanner is Phantom 336 CX. Always hated it. It only works on an old Compaq with Windows XP (pro). Microtek even has the guts to ask 3 dollars for a bad driver."

"To follow up on ny previous comment, the driver worked on one of my computers running XP, but not the other. In my experience it seems to be pot luck as to which software will run on which system."

"it worked well, but same as for bernard above, the miniport driver was marked as faulty, although negative without effect on functioning of driver, thaks for the developer"

"I installed it on WinXP. It Seems to work. There is one thing I has to do :

Remove the Microtek MiniPort SCSI device in the control panel because it was in fault."
