"After download, would not extract, went to an XP system and extracted files. Then when I tried to install in Vista, message appeared - incompatable with operating system. The 'read me' file mentions compatability with 98SE!

I feel sure this will be 100% for XP but Vista - keep searching, there's a driver out there somewhere."

"This works for the Pavillion 512c which really has a TriGem 2002052 Gendale (TriGem GL Motherboard) contrary to HP's site. This board has the ADI 1981A AC'97 codec device"
