"ASUSTeK/Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller Driver for on board LAN worked for Win Me + 98SE. Was testing old Asus P4PE m/b and initial install mi-identified the on board LAN as a AsusTek/Broadcom 5702 and no matter what could not get a driver to load correctly. Tried this driver which worked and now Hardware comes up as Asus/Broadcom 440. Most times get warning tha

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
