"I bought a modem labelled would work up to windows XP only which I don't believe since Vista has almost have all modem driver innate to the os. the driver CD that came with it is for XP but installed fine however it randomly gives you BSOD, it was a 4.6.0 version then until I found this. It installed fine by manually updating the driver and now in the process of observing

it BSOD will still show up with new 4.77.8.3 version. Will keep you posted"
