"This modem can get past the inadequate UARTs of older laptops, but if running Win3.1x you MUST use the original COMM.DRV -- it may have been replaced in the search for speed. I found I couldn't initialize the modem with the Shiva dialer from Explorer, so it's back to Trumpet Winsock, which works fine, but can be difficult for the uninitiated to set up. A shame the port-m
