"I am hoping this is the same driver I'd lost a while ago. {I didn't think I'd be using 98SE, ooops...)

It worked well before [if this is the same one I'd used before], thus the recomendation."

"Driver installed well, but I don't think I like the setup as well as the previous driver. I will keep it for now but the interface just seems to 'busy' to me."

"It is probably working fine IF you have a Benq scanner. I tried to use it (as the wizard said) on an Acer Scanner and that didn't work out at all. Maybe it is due to too low voltage - I could only provide 12V and it is supposed to get 16V. So it MIGHT work with the correct adapter."

"After taking the time to download it, I find during the install that this driver will not work with Win XP O/S even though it says it will."

"Downloaded to upgrade my 620U to a W2000 system. After loading the driver, it seemed to load for a 640U scanner and doesn't work with my 620U."

"Driver works fine (win98se Dutch), Acerscan 620U Prisa usb.

Note: you need to install Ulead-Photo-Express to use the scanner.

Or any other (scanning) application will do the job.

You can not scan anything by just installing this driver.

"The driver is supposed to work on Mac os X but the file is a .exe - how am I supposed to run this on the Mac Os? It seems to be a zip file but I can't open it (I tried the command line unzip as well as the latest stuffIt)

I'll take a look if I can find a PC emulator..."
