"hi everyone this driver is made for win-XP and works great on xp machines

but after long search for a driver for win-server2003 enterprise I have the sollution now

step1 simple unpack all the files of this driver

step2 rename the file adm8830.sys into adm8820.sys

step3 install it with windows device manager

If you get any error messages on a few files

"Not for Win98 (or Aureal Vortex 8820 Audio.) System looks for adm8820.sys, driver is for adm8830.sys. Found Aztechasc338pci.exe worked using 338-1185."

"When installing from 'specific location' Some files were asked for during install which were missing from the provided folder. The install completed but windows could not load the driver."

"Wow! 24hrs and a dozen attempts later I finaly get my card working on Tiny Xp Beast Edition. Using my original valid serial of course, but it's a nice stripped down version of XP. Thank you!

Great driver so far. If you have XP, ignore the rest and follow the simple install instructions. Brilliant. Made my day."

"good driver but took a bit of time to get it to work. in the end i had to reinstall windows without the sound card and then install the driver. then i put the card back in and all was sweet. hope this helps any of you noobs."
