"Used this as a third party driver for a XP install with an older Abit mainboard with a thirdparty Ultra ATA controller. Works just fine, XP accepts the driver without any problem. So, thanks again!"

"I am trying to upgrade my Windows 98SE to XP (yes, while everyone else is going to Vista). I found if I copy the files from zip to a diskette and boot with BartPE (XP on CD), I can press F6 during boot to select additional "SCSI" device as Highpoint controller and XP will recognize my drives. "Used this on an Abit BP-6 Dual Celeron Mobo with

UDMA 66 on IDE 3 and 4. Drivers worked good to

eliminate "mass storage devices" in device manager.

For this Mobo had to install windows on IDE1, then add HPT366 drivere, then swith drive over to IDE 3 and change boot sequence to UDMA66 from SCSI. Worked."
