"I received an Audigy card for Christmas and was so thrilled to finally replace the 5.1 Live! card. The 5.1 Live! would run ok with the drivers that came with the install cd, but trying to update them, was hit and miss at best. I had the card for about 5 years and it never really worked that well. It may have been my system, me, or any number of things but this particula

"you must have the original installation for it to work properly. for SB Extigy, run the file. when you get the error "no sb extigy found" before cliking on ok or cancel, you go to documents and settings/"your folder"/local settings/temp a temp dir is made i think its cf0.. you can always close the install while your temp folder is open then re-run it ag

"Driver stated it could not detect any soundblaster sound card even though I have the sound card inserted firmly into my PCI slot. Still not sure what the problem is."

"So far" so good, I just downloaded this driver recently and it seen to to be running fine on my system. I was given this card from my brother which had no software to come with it. Went to the creative lab site but they didnt offer this perticular driver so you guys were a life saver"

How to Update SB Live 5.1 SB0101 Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

How to Install a driver from Device Manager
