"It didn't work for me because I think my scanner is the one with no external power switch. A real pity because this diver is in Spanish and I'm Argentinian!"

"The driver works like a charm on my Umax Astra 600P and Windows XP. It installed very easily from the Scanners & Cameras Section of Control Panel, just clicked Add Device and Have Disk, Browsed to the directory and away we went. MS Word was able to insert a scan without any hitches a minute later. My only comment is that the Controls are all in Spanish, which I happ

en to speak as a second language, so no problem at all for me. Really though as most of the settings are intuitive, I don't think there should really be any language gap issues for folks. Thanks much, I thought I was going to have to trash the old girl, but she still has plenty of life in her left. Highly recommended & a small download to boot."

"Didn't work on first install. Deleted and reinstalled and it worked on XP Pro. Though in Spanish- it sure beats the basic driver that comes with XP."

"Driver worked great the first time using XP photo management. Haven't tried it in Photoshop or others yet. Does not include the PowerSave button from Win98, so scan lamp remains lit. Help file is in Spanish."
