"I switched to Windows 2003 Server when I got a software deal through school, so I thought I'd review this driver package under '03 Server. Unsurprisingly, it worked just as well as with Windows XP. At 1280x1024 a 100Hz refresh rate can safely be selected for the P260 with these drivers.

As I stated before, these drivers define IBM's specifications for its own monit

"For those who claimed the driver didn't work under Windows XP, I think the problem they were having is that Windows doesn't want to accept these drivers via 'automatic install' because they aren't digitally signed. These drivers define some higher resolutions/refresh rates that the P260s are capable of, come from IBM and therefore ARE a better match than the Windows defau

"During installation was prompted for the IBM Monitor Installation Disk...which I don't have...it's a used monitor. Consequently, the monitor operates no differently with this driver than with the Plug 'n' Play driver installed by Windows."

"Easy to install if you're good enough with computers in this day and age. Simply install from a location where the extracted files are and you're able to move on."

"This driver does not work on WinXP. It indicates that it is not newer than what is already installed. Since there is nothing already installed for my P260 monitor, it means that the graphics driver native to XP is newer."
