Additional Notes

This BIOS update is for an Award BIOS on DFI P2XBL Rev. D2 motherboard. One of the chips it loads into is labeled M29F002T-90P1 5HF2T 9943 (this is the number on the chip itself, not the sticker on top of the chip). This update will upgrade COMPATIBLE BIOS chips with other codes, but I don't know which ones. The one I purchased it for had another code, but I lost the old code after I performed the update. BE CAREFUL!!! If you load an incompatible firmware into your BIOS your machine will be as dead as a doornail. That's how I embarked on the journey that got me a good driver for my bios. By the way, if you've already toasted your BIOS, you should check out www.biosworld.com. They'll send you a new chip with a good firmware loaded and your PC will be resurrected. And they won't rob
