"I had to run the dos based setup program which lets you change the 650ep card to jumperless mode.

There were some other options (like set irq, set to plug n play) which might help others.

Problem is I'm not sure if it is this driver or another one that had this dos setup program. Not all the driver versions for 650ep do."

"I was trying to install an old CN650E Plus (EISA NIC) under Win98, but the driver supplied with the card (dated 1993) wouldn't work with Win98. I eventually got the driver downloaded from here to work, but had to first rename the Win95_98\CN650.DOS file to CN650EP.DOS for the installation to complete successfully. Thanks for the driver, Jeff!"
