Disabled device, and then enabled device in Device Manager. After that everything worked well on Windows 2000 Pro"

"This is the only site that I have been able to find the USB drivers for my Sony DSC-S50 camera, and it is the worst sight I have ever been on. If the Download won't start, then they completely refuse to install. I would not recommend your site at all.

"When I first obtained this driver I looked over some of the comments - several were derogatory in nature but I have installed it on several systems and have no difficulties whatever!

Perhaps it's more hwo than what?

"This did NOT work for me. Using w2K professional. I believe I had the w98 driver installed already, but symptoms are mouse becomes inoperative and the system becomes unusable within minutes. I have uninstalled the driver and rebooted numerous times. Will have to reinstall the OS, I think."

"Thanks a bunch!! you prevented my further hair loss!!! I do still have one slight problem as I have to uninstall then reinstall the silly dsc drive and usb in the add and remove hardware everytime I re start my computer! It doesn't automatically detect the camera when I plug it in and turn it on. any further ideas? would be beholding to ya!! thanks again"

"I downloaded and tried to install on on my IBM T20 TP. As with previous attempts of other drivers it does not allow me to see the drive. Camera drivers work great on ME although Sony had suggested use only on WIN98 & WIN98SE. Any Ideas? I've got 2000 loaded here but noluck... Sure would like to get something that works!"

"This driver also worked fine on my win 98se system. Once installed, and the camera plugged in, the camera shows up as an additional drive. Files are then accessed directly off the camera as if it was an external drive."
