"Used on a Powermate VT 300i with MS-6156VA Ver 1.0 BX7 motherboard. Has AMI bios. The flash utility did update the bios which trashed the system. Now only beeps when trying to boot. Pulled bios chip from spare motheboard and it was a later version and supports the 800mhz processor. Problem solved, but not via downloaded drivers."

"Did download the driver and attempted to install but the sound still did not activate? Does anyone have a clue?"
