"Have a Philips pcrw804 running XP. CDRW does not like to work. Philips has a very poor support site. Nice to know I can find the help ( I should have recieved from Philips) on an independent site. Thanks for being around. I assure you I will no longer buy Phlilps computer equip again."

"PCRW804 Problem This this Phillips CDRW is about a year old and what happens is the the disk in light just keeps on flashing and locks the system.Will try new firmware, but if anyone knows anthing please email me."

"I have a Phillips PCA460RW and both Win2000 and WinXP. The CD-ReWriter functioned perfectly in Win98 with the supplied software with no installed drivers. (I can only assume that drivers were temporarily loaded with the supplied software). However when on Win2000 and WinXP, the supplied CD-writing software from Phillips was not compatable. "I have already downloaded and flashed my CDR, it is a HP 8250i, which to my knowledge is the same as a Philips CDD4201, or PCRW404, but I still need a driver to get it to work with the burning software. PLEASE HELP!!"

"The same as may others above. I have a pcrw404K Philips CD-rewriter and I can't get it to work on my windows 2000 machine, but it had worked before. So I thought maybe I have to upgrade the driver and ended upon this site. So maybe someone can help me with a driver?"

"I have the same problem as many others. My CD-RW CDD4801 is not recognized by Win95. Flashdriver.exe is firmware-update which does not fix my problem. I need a device driver for the CD-RW. Can anyone help me ? Has anyone a driver available ? Does anyone know where I can find it ?"

"Dear Sir, Unfortunately I have lost device driver of Philips CD Writer (CDRW400) 400 series, model # PCRW404 neither the driver is available on Philips web site, only upgrade versions are available there.
