"I will be using this driver for xp install. I used the scanner wizard in the control panel and it worked very well w/o the driver but the programs are what I am after.

"The scanner does not work since I loaded the Win. XP. The problem may be because the computer is not able to remove the old registration entry for the driver !! Please help me if you can"

"I cannot say much about the driver, because when I choose the source to make a scan, a message comes up:"Can't find scanner .....".

"I don't usde my scanner often but still need it. It would have irritated me if I had to purchase a new one just to get a Win XP compliant driver. And the Acer driver site is useless, imo.

"i was looking for an xp driver for Acer scanprisa 640p scanner. the downloaded driver did not work. it might work for other models but not for 640p. i found the correct driver at benq website."

"The driver download went perfect,,,i don't know what the problem is but my scaner model scanprisa 340u Acer -----mfg.date may 2000

is not caching the driver software. In the system i can see that it is connected to the usb port as a flatbed scanner
