"The bios ID of the mb was i430tx 2a59iv3gc before the flashing and after the flashing. The new bios was needed to upgrade the motherboard with an Amd K6-2 450 mhz processor. Before the flash the motherboard wasn't stable and recognized the processor as a K6. It didn't work with a 128 Mb Sdram unit. After the flashing it did.
