This build 62.1 is supposed to have the least problems. It is for the new v90 technology ISP servers as of 1998.If your ISP has not upgraded its equipment your highest connection speed will be 33, until everyone has changed to the new standard. Also get the uninstall SM56 drivers listed here. There was no operating system listed.

How to Update Motorola SM56 Modem Serial Wave Device Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
