"The file dates in this zip are all 8/22/01!

What system is this update for--- DOS 5.0 :-)?

Also, these are the same files on the TDK CD (v5.1) that came with the illiterate (can't Read or Write) TDK CD/RW.

How about a driver update for Win XP,SP2?"

"I downloaded this driver reading it was for a 'Usb Mass Storage Device', and mine is the Usb2.0 & I let windows look for the driver after opening the zip into it's own folder, point windows to look 'there' for the drivers & well ... Nothing.? - So I don't risk installing a driver windows doesn't even recognize.? - Just to be safe.! - I'll keep looking for the time
