"I tried installing this driver to Windows 98SE but it didn't do any update . Ive gone to the HP website using the ftp. link from this website and found the correct driver which I haven't tried yet , but it should work . Thankyou , I can't pay for this service ."

"Went in fine but doesn't show up as an option in the display drivers in the Control Panel. That was the reason I downloaded it so that the monitor I am using appears as present and an option for configuration. May be fine if this is got around."

"The driver only has 3 resolution settings....

and the maximum was 640x480),(800x600), (1024 by 768)---which is less than the std windows plug n play that I had installed.....but it came from compaq so I guess the monitor is only designed for that"

"Does it work...yes.! Is there a big improvement....subjective...but I think not. Problem may be to do with FONT set It seems that screen lettering is easier to read under Win98 and under Win 2000 Pro it is degraded.....any suggestions.??"

"I struggled to get driver updated. Windows was quite happy without the driver and would not search for it. Had to find the text file before I knew what to do next. Worked well after that but did not resolve my distorted screen that only appears before bios password. Next step is video driver."
