"Romania: we did a kind of hybrid upgrade when a new flatmate with a faster computer and a more stable version of Windows arrived ... we logically decided to have just one unit and bung my hard drive, RAM and wireless card in his box... but i'd lost the original AMD Alchemy driver CD, if i ever even had it... the previously installed driver wouldn't simply load from my disk

to his Windows... seemed almost unfindable elsewhere. Found easily here, installed easily and it works. Thanks. (mind you, I still prefer using my Mac, which i used to find the blasted driver in the first place, since no jumper-swapping was required to connect...)"

"Installed on XP for "TecNew wireless Lan cardbus adapter" and "Origo Wireless Lan PCI card". Works great. Better than the updated driver that Windows update will try to install."

"Driver works but it seems like it doesn't support WPA encryption.

Use "wlpc05" instead which can alse be found here on driverguide."

"i downloaded it; let it "install" and unpacked it to new dir program files/am1772.

restarted the laptop and... the version mentioned stays the old number.

how do i continue or alter in such a way it works/ really installs the right way?
