"Bought the 3C980-TX cheap from my mate. Windows will find the drivers.......... Oh no it won't. Searched the Internet for ages, and could only find NT4 drivers. 3COM site said the card was unsupported !!! Marvellous. You've saved my skin - thanx."

"It worked. Downloaded fine. Extracted OK. One error on starting it asked for Disk 3 at which time we had to cancel installation. Got enough going to work first attempt despite failing two attempts to get going with drivers from 3Com site and three from Dell(bought NIC w server)."

"It downloaded fine, but WinZip wouldn't open it. It said it didn't have a valid archive. So I wasn't able to use it."
