"Howdy all, Yes,the driver works and I had the same problem as many of you at first.Had to go to the local comp store and use their comp to go look for drivers.Came across a chart for the 5000a series from pacbell that said this card would only work if the original OS was present when the upgrade to XP was done.I got mine to work with the origanal software that came

I have known that it is out there somewhere for download, but we as techs were never given the info as to where. "I have been searching for this driver FOREVER. I can not beleive I finally found it. I cant believe commpaq tells people that buy computers that they can not load their own OS. Does compaq still own this POS that I bought from them? NO!!!!"

"I just installed Xp after Windows ME on my Pac-Bell DSL computer and lost my DSL. I found your site and downloaded the driver and it worked great. Compaq aka Comslaq was of no help in this matter. It works great with XP!!!!"

"I just downloaded the driver and will copy it to a zip disk. In a day or two I am going to load XP onto a brand new (and adequately larger) hard drive. Then I am going to install this TI driver and giggle insanely when it works. I have Ti3000wn.inf the Win9x setup file for TI ADSL WAN(RFC2364) Adapter and even though your file is Ti3000ln.inf the Win9x/Win2k installation file for TI ADSL LAN(RFC1483) Adapter it works on XP with my ATM card! Thank You again!!!!!!!!!!"

"I truly hope this works. I have one of the Compaq 5000 DSL computers and it has been crashing on me since day one. Compaq has no idea why...But I suspect it has something to do with the modem. I will never, EVER, buy another Compaq as long as I live. This proprietary garbage is insane. Torgo, thank you for finding this. Excellent job!"

"man let me tell you the dicatatorship that likes to call itself compaq, tells me that I am going to have to keep the compaq load of WINME if I want the DSL to function whomever retreived this is a god...now I can load the load of my chioce even if it is WINME still...hey winme installed by me is better than compaq resource eating crap..tahnks again been searching for weeks
