"I played with this and the original driver for a long time, neither would work in win xp pro until i changed the port settings in the bios.(setup) resource setting 0278-027f dma=3 after rebooting i went into control panel and changed more settings irq=7 never use interupt enable legacy plug and play works fine now, i didn't load Pagis, I'm using Paint shop Pro. I got these

"I am running XP and have been unable to use my IBMscanner (0275-011). I downloaded that file but I can not find an older version on my PC. SHould I use another Photo program?"

"Thank you I have my old IBM scanner back. I lost it with the Windows XP upgrade. I have looked for more than a month to find this driver. Again. my thanks, it works great! Tom My scanner is an IBM 01k1226 I first used my instalation disk. It won't work at that point. Then unpacked the scanapi.exe file and followed the instructions. My desk top scan button doesn't work, b

"The Windows 98 drivers will work in Windows XP if you do the following BEFORE you install them From Device Manager select Ports. Then go to the properties of the lpt port and select "Use any available interrupt" and set the port mode to "Legacy". It won't effect printing. Load the drivers and scan away."

"I have a ibm scanner type 0275-001 s/n 284490 and it did work, but you have to remove te old file first, and load the new whan."

"tried it with winxp, didn't work..and it's not quite clear that what should I do after I download the driver, stuff with delete the .dll file and that... thanx a lot anyway.."
