"found vis6200 at goodwill for $7.50 , went to pay for it and the girl pointed out it was missing the 12v p/s and usb cable (i knew that) and sold it to me for $3.75 works great. only use the file thats shown as missing under xp's wizard."

"Have yet to get this stupid scanner to work. Have tried with both a W2K and a W98 machine. Other USB devices work on these machines so I do not think it's a USB problem."

"Included pdf is original product manual, and is not very helpful. Not sure what some of the other items do.

What I did after unzip

1) Open .exe (install) (did not request any .dlls)

2) Finish installation/reboot

3) Open control panel

4) Add Hardware (NOT "Scanners and Cameras")

5) Ignore warnings and install stuff anyway (pmxusd.dll requested
