"I have succesfully installed and used this driver from Windows XP.

Note: I installed XP on an older disk, and then added the Serial ATA disk. After installation, I ran into boot problems, because the system now recognised two master disks (even though Serial ATA does not have master/slave characteristics)

It was no picnic, but it works! And the driver is not to blam
