"After re-installing WindowsXP Pro, I lost audio in the system. There was no sound of whatsoever kind. The device manager showed in yellow the absence of a driver for Multimedia Audio Controller. So I thought this driver would help. But this is not the driver for this purpose. I don't know where this driver would fit in, but do not use it for the above purpose."
