"This driver has been touted as working with Windows XP. So far this, and every other 9636T driver that I have tried, has not even tried to install. When I click on the setup icon the computer just makes a plunk sound and the installer does not launch. If someone out there has a solution I would love to hear it. The scanner was working fine under Win98 and still worked afte

r I upped the OS to Windows XP. I had a system crash yesterday (the old "missing or corrupt: \windows\system32\config\system" problem). After fixing this and getting running again my Plustek 9636T scanner would no longer work so I tried the driver for XP from DriverGuide and all I get is a Plunk sound when I click on the Setup icon. Help!!!"
