"Nope. Seems like this is just some form of Intervideo DVD install and nothing to do with windows XP drivers for the 200i. Also tried the HP's DLA available on driverguide, but again this is not a driver, just another application which needs to have visibility of a writeable device i.e. it needs adriver beneath it. Still no resolution after all the messing around. Shame I d

"This driver will is not the problem. The DVD drive is the problem. I doesn't seem to work with XP as a burner."

"Hi, Is it available in a smaller file size? Because we have dial-up internet and it takes ages to download 45.78MB (approximately 8 Hours)"

"The driver I downloaded was is WIN_DVD media player.

It has nothing to do with the DVD hp200i.

I double checked, by downloading it twice from both MIRROR 1 and MIRROR 2 site.

Waste of time."
