"xp doesnt like some older hardware, but with this driver i was able to get my old reliable scanjet up and running, instead of that lexmark thing!!!!"

"Even though the driver shows an error insalling because one dll cannot be unzipped and / or installed, ir repaires the original installation of the HP CD and it works."

"As soon as I started installing it I had a Windows message to stop install. It said something like will harm orperating system. Search by manufacturer, HP had the driver."

How to Update Hewlett-Packard ScanJet 2200C Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

  • In Windows 7, click Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager

  • In Windows Vista, click Start -> Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> Device Manager

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
